Performance Evaluation of Hybrid Meta-Heuristics-Based Task Scheduling Algorithm for Energy Efficiency in Fog Computing

Task scheduling in fog computing is one of the areas where researchers are having challenges as demand grows for use internet things (IoT) to access cloud resources. Many resource and optimization algorithms were used by many computing; some single techniques while others combined schemes achieve dynamic computing, assessed based on deterministic meta-heuristic find out solution task problem but could not excellent results required. This article proposes hybrid algorithm (HMOA) energy efficient study modified particle swarm (MPSO) spanning tree (SPT) with intention eliminating drawbacks two when separately, MPSO was schedule user requests among devices, MPSO-SPT perform allocation management environment. The implemented proposed using iFogSim; performance evaluated, assessed, compared other state-of-the-art algorithms, method performs better terms consumption, utilization response time, future research evaluating execution time algorithm.
